The data is one of the most precious assets of an organization. Like the traditional IT security model, the main objective of the cloud-based security model is to protect the data from the unauthorized access. Though the cloud-based security and the traditional security works in the same way, the cloud-based security has more agile approach than the traditional security as the cloud-based security has been implemented on the third-party data center. Also, the cloud-based security is more rapidly scalable than the traditional IT-security and has more efficient resource utilization as it takes lower amount of time and cost to secure the cloud-based data ("What is Cloud Security?", 2019).
